Did you know? If  you have any comments to regarding the Restoration Project or wish to put forward suggestions or improvements to be incorporated in the Hall Restoration, please write to: The Restoration Project at Linslade Community Hall, Waterloo Road, Linslade, Bedfordshire  LU7 2NR  -------------- Alternatively you may contact us here. News: We have recently received news from one landfill operator that our Grant is now confirmed, and from our conversations with the other, that their Grant will be confirmed shortly. These Grants will provide the funds needed to start the next stage, sometime in early February 2012. Most of the works will not impinge on the Hall, but there is a need to cut a hatchway through the back wall as the serving hatch for the new kitchen, and a doorway into the cottage area. It will not be practicable nor safe for the Hall to be in use at this time. Accordingly we give notice that the Hall will be temporarily closed for two weeks commencing March 5th.  The Hall will not be available for safety reasons during the daytime , but should remain available in the evenings and weekends.  This being the period currently anticipated by our builder and architect. We appreciate that this will not necessarily be good news for some of our users,  but we ask your support and understanding as we continue to move forward with the full project.   .If you have specific concerns, please contact the Hall Manager: Dave Darvill and he will try to work towards a solution.
