The Hall is currently undergoing the second stage of a major Restoration, the need
for this restoration was initially identified back in 2003, Stages 1 and 2b being
completed in 2008.

As of September 2011 the refurbishment of the toilet facilities is now complete.
Briefly, the next stage of the Hall’s Restoration will involve the complete rebuilding
of the cottage at the rear of the Hall to provide space for a kitchen that meets
modern standards, provision of new meeting rooms, new storage areas.
The cost of all these improvements is estimated to be of the order of £200,000.
This cost will be meet by ‘match funding’ grants the value of which are totally
dependent on the funds raised by the Hall Restoration Fund itself.
Following a Parochial Church Council Meeting on January 27th 2011, it was agreed
that the Council would underwrite the present funding gap in the Restoration Fund
to enable the Fund to reach the half-way mark.
As this point has been reached, the Fundraising Committee is now in the process of
applying for major grants of £50,000, which, if successful will enable the project to
commence completion this year.
